Would it be possible to create a plugin that shows traffic information using Google Maps and your GPS coordinates?

Basically, it would take your GPS data and pin it in google maps and show the red, green, yellow lines on the road using google on the roads near that GPS location.

It would be nice to have a plugin like this integrated with Centrafuse.

That would be easy to make. :-) Now if only Australia had the live traffic updates...

That being said, it would be nice to make a general Google Maps plugin for Centrafuse to streamline a few of it's features.

I'm having some annoying Build issues on my computer at the moment but I might have a play once I get them sorted out.

I am already loving your File Manager plugin. Let me know if you need a US tester :)

Do you mean a site like this ( Connected - The Free Web Traffic Interface ) and GPSGate working together ;)

It will every time you start it..... google needs a default.... any way - if you send a command telling it where to go once open it shouldnt be an issue.

Let me know how you get on and if you do make a plugin of some kind please share it around.... ( which I know you will any way ).

NB the markers on there are out of date at the moment and are coming from a source I am experimenting on ;)

Google Maps JavaScript API Example: Traffic Overlays

I already have a call back that recenters the map, however I still need to get lat and long.
SIMPLE I could use some help here. I need a VB.NET routine that gets lat and long and makes an http request that sets a file. After that the javascript above can recenter the map using a java script call to
    XMLHttpRequest.

This requires a hosted domain. It seems to work on my laptop running an Apache server, but per agreement with Google for the app key, it's not -- @page { size: 8.5in 11in; margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } -->guaranteed to.

    Please advise
